Infant Program

Ages: Birth to 18 months
Ratio: 3 Instructors to 10 babies
Cost: $65/day

The Infant program includes a variety of activities and experiences planned with the individual child's needs, strengths and interests in mind. Your child will learn, grow and develop through activities that foster his/her social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Examples of activities include finger painting, playing with texture boards, and taking walks. Each infant has their own schedule for eating, sleeping and playing.

Toddler Program

Ages: 18 months to 2 ½ years
Ratio: 3 Instructors to 15 children
Cost: $54/day

Activities and experiences are planned to cater to individual children's needs, strengths and interests. Children will learn, grow and develop through activities that foster his/her social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Each day has a special focus, such as dancing, baking, kicking a ball or counting. Our program is a reflection of our diverse community. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their child's daycare experience!

Pre-School Program

Ages: 2½ years to 5½ years
Ratio: 3 Instructors to 24 children
Cost: $33/day

Our theme-based preschool program is designed for the children's needs and interests. The activities help to develop children's language, motor, cognitive, sensory and social skills. Older preschoolers are involved in the Family Literacy program at Dundas Public school, where they interact with other children and parents, preparing them for kindergarten. Summertime trips include the wading pool at Jimmy Simpson Community Centre, library visits, and picnics. We are proud of our program and welcome any ideas to help us make it even more exciting and educational.

School Aged Program

Ages: 5½ to 10 years
Ratio: 1 Child Care Provider to 15 children
Cost: School year: $22/day
Summer: $33/day

This program is designed and implemented based on the needs and interests of the children. With a focus on problem-solving, co-operation, and fine and gross motor skills, activities like arts and crafts, and outdoor play help to enhance the "whole child". The program plan reflects many of the different cultures; children might make an Inukshuk one day, and paint Mandarin words the next. We believe that our program is a great fit for the school aged child, and we welcome comments and suggestions to make our program even better.
